Here are some top tips for starting school. 
Make sure you meet up with the learning support department and discuss your main needs as well as doing a walk around the school so you can get used to the area. 
Secondly, meet with the head of subject teachers or your subject teachers for that year and discuss what you need them to do in order to learn and be productive like everyone else.
Thirdly, if you have an issue with a teacher not fulfilling your needs, raise this issue as soon as possible as it will be harder to solve later on.
