The Services Directorate team held their quarterly away day, focusing on improving outreach and efficiency. They were joined by Markéta Kristlová, an experienced Brand Equity Lead and Marketeer, who brought her expertise to the table in a session filled with engaging insights.
Markéta led the team through a festive, interactive calendar of learning, sharing marketing principles and actionable tips while emphasising the importance of focusing on the audience—a golden rule for success. The two-hour session combined fun and valuable takeaways, enhancing the team’s understanding of key marketing strategies.
Sam Leftwich, Engagement Manager, East said:
“Marketa delivered the learning session in an engaging and informative way, sharing her expertise with us. A great mix of presentation, activities and discussion. As a result, we have been able to prioritise working practices ensuring we can maximise our reach but do so in an efficient and effective way. We will continue to use this method and will feature in future conversations. To ensure the session was accessible, Marketa produced a word document explaining the images, infographics and text on each of the slides which was shared before the session. When presenting she spoke through the slides and added context and extra nuggets of information.”
Emma Hughes, Services Director at TPT said:
“We were delighted to have Markéta Kristlová join us for our recent Services Team away day. Markéta delivered a workshop focusing on how we can increase our reach to attract more blind and partially sighted people to our services and how to work smartly to deliver our work. Her workshop was engaging and interactive and prompted by Markéta, staff came up with many great ideas that we are looking to implement over the coming months.”
Markéta Kristlová, Brand Equity Lead and Marketeer said:
“It was a great morning and I felt very lucky to be asked to help to facilitate this workshop. Everyone was very engaged and there was so much positive energy and passion in the room, that it was no surprise that we left with many ideas on how to work more smartly for a bigger impact – I can’t wait to see where the teams will take them. I very much enjoyed the session and hope to be invited again.”
Jen Sweeney, Corporate Engagement Manager at TPT:
“The session was engaging and thought-provoking. This was quite a last-minute request I made to Markéta, who, at the time, was volunteering overseas. I was delighted when she immediately agreed to prepare and present the session on a pro-bono basis.”
