“PageGroup have been impressed with the quality of candidates introduced to us by TPT. I have personally been delighted with the insightful questions and keen engagement by the interns on the Get Set Progress programme. I’m very much looking forward to meeting more candidates and setting them on their way to meaningful job opportunities and careers”.
Kim Bowler, Consultant at Michael Page
Since August 2022, the partnership between Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) and leading recruitment consultancy Michael Page (part of PageGroup) has gone from strength to strength, and the team at Michael Page are now actively supporting TPT’s Skill Share Programme.
This bespoke programme enables TPT’s interns, students, and employment seekers to participate in online learning & development sessions from external organisations. Consultant Kim Bowler has already delivered impactful sessions on ‘Breaking Down Barriers’ and ‘Getting the most from a Recruitment Consultancy.’ A handy hints & tips guidewas created in collaboration with an intern on the TPT Get Set Progress programme and Michael Page.
A new TPT Skill Share calendar of events will launch soon, and we are delighted that Kim has agreed to run the online learning again for the new cohort of interns, students and employment seekers.
“Breaking down Barriers with Kim was a great session that encouraged me to think back to some of the barriers I have encountered within my lifetime as someone with a visual impairment. It was insightful to see the similarities between the barriers Kim has faced and my own despite our disabilities being different from one another and how with the right mindset and mechanisms in place they can be overcome with ease.”
Charlie Rashbrook, Former Intern.
The partnership supports people wanting to start, restart or progress their careers, referring clients from its ‘Works for Me’ programme to the recruiter. The team at Michael Page work with candidates to match them to available roles.
Our ongoing collaboration continues with some exciting initiatives in discussion! We are very proud to be working in partnership with Michael Page and look forward to sharing further progress!
